1,059 '09 Vettes in stock
As of today, there are 1,059 '09 Vettes in stock at dealers across the US.
This doesn't take into account leftover '08's.
Looks as if the slow economy is affecting Corvette sales along with everything else.

which only means one thing...there's still too many people out there with more money than brains. The dealership just have to wait for the next sucker.

I agree!!!! I've always said I need to get into sales!!! I just need something to sell. I couldn't imagine being in the supermarket and seeing a price on an item and agreeing to pay more at the register than it was selling for because someone else wanted it. It's like telling the dealer they aren't charging enough.

Or the leftover 07's still out there. The greedy dealers are causing it. I guess they can afford to let them sit on their lots or showrooms.

Not quite sure it's greedy dealers. GM just announced employees can gift their GMS employee price discount to friends who buy '08 models out of dealer inventory..limited time offer.

26 2007 Z06s on the lots.
1746 2008 Z06s on the lots.
257 2009 Z06s on the lots.
It's a buyers market.

A week or 2 ago there were over 8,000 08 C6s of which over 1800 were 08 Z06s. They are moving but not very fast.

I have to wonder how many buyers were put-off by the markups, said to heck with it, and now are no longer interested.

It may be a good lesson to the dealers. Let's wait in see if they will still play games with the ZR1 prices.
