2006 Corvette Production Info

According to Automotive News February 6, 2006 issue:

BG built 2,579 Corvettes in January 2006, compared to 2,382 in January 2005.

BG built 183 Cadillac XLR's in Jan 2006, compared to 204 in Jan 2005.

Is there anyway you could find out of the total built, how many of them were Zs?

Two things I have heard from people close to the know.....they are gearing up a bit and Z's aren't on the computer tracking like the coupe and verts. For my museum delivery in a couple of weeks, they go by a hand written sheet and I guess for the coupes and verts they can determine production dates via the computer.....

Two very high GM Official's were overheard discussing GM's financial dilemma.

1st GM Official: You know Bill were are losing market share and losing millions of dollars.

2nd GM Official: Wow! Bill, I didn't know that. I heard that they build some kind of a plastic sports car down in Bowling Green or some place like that called the Z06.

1st GM Official: I've heard of that car

2nd GM Official I also heard that there are selling like hotcakes and the Dealers can't kept them in stock.

1st GM Official: Thanks for the info. I'll call the plant and slow down production.
