2LZ Z06 polished rims question

I was looking at a stock 2LZ 08's Z06's polished rims and see they look different then my 2LZ 06 Z06's. Those 08's look chromed with more of shine and my 06's look like polished aluminum. What did they do change manufacturers or go chrome? Thanks for any input.

According to my dealer brochure, the chrome rimes weren't available in 06. If I remember right, the option was available in 07.

Just go get a Mothers powerball and some of their polish,,,it sure made my Fikse's look like chrome!






I actually like polished Aluminum better than chrome.

I have polished 5/10 spoke wheels. Doesn't look too bad.

Had the polished on my `08 , didn`t like the
milky look. Found someone that had chrome and
wanted polished ,did a swap with them.

Chrome really makes my red Z pop!
