Anybody have this problem with their Nav system?

According to the GPS manual, the map view on the screen can be alternated between absolute "north" and "driving ahead" mode. Hard to explain, but those with GPS will easily get what I'm talking about.

Absolute "north": north is always at the top of the screen.
"Driving ahead": your car is always shown as heading forward on the screen.

To alternate between the 2 modes, just touch the double diamond icon, or the N letter.

My problem: I'm stuck on "driving ahead", I prefer absolute north. It's been over a month since I was driving true north. I pressed, and pressed, lightly, and hard, and still can't change the display. Short of taking it to the dealer (which I'm very afraid to do), is there anything else I can do? Is there a reset function?

Thanks,

Take it to the dealer, it sounds like a software problem.

What happens when you go to the split screen? Can you get the 3D to work on the Right side mape? And will it trak North?

I solved the problem by switching from 3D to 2D. As soon as I select 3D, the icon becomes the double diamond. In 2D view, I can switch between head north or true north with no problem. Weird.

I did try zoom out, no success while in 3D.

Thanks,
