anyone played against an SL65AMG Renntech?

I had a chance to play a bit with one from 100 or so to about 140...we were glued to each other....I don't know what would have happened afterwards...we would get on it...could not get away from each other and then had to slow down due to traffic...tried it about 3 times with the same results...

I am not a fan of MB's but this thing sounded absolutely sick...I could hear the turbos wind up over my exhaust at full throttle!!!

That's some car. Cool story. I'm a big fan of AMGs. A friend of mine has a CL600 Renntech. No comparison by any means, but it still has over 700 tq. Just a little passing power.

Your results sound about right. i raced a stock one and was about 2-2.5 cars or so ahead by from a 50ish to 135. So, given this was Renneteched, sounds right to me.

That car was probably pushing 600+ rwhp. Imagine if they weighed what a vet weighed..

I have an 05 sl65 renntech and i can't keep the tires on the ground it is truly scary fast. My Z06 is an o3 and its fast but not like this... The MB has 680 hp and over 725tq so im told. But I can't get any traction but its fun

Sounds like a fun ride. The torque is insane.
