Does anybody own, know some who owns, want to own, or have an opinion on the new Atomic Orange paint for the Z06?
I've got one on order due up in short time. I loved the DSO color but car wasnt produced in time I've switched to AO and believe(hope) it is just as good. I have yet to see any really quality pics of an AO vette so if anybody can help me out I'd really appreciate it.
By the way this is my first post.... Glad to be here!

Thanks a lot! I have it down for NCM delivery too! Hopefully I'll be back stateside in time to visit the line before taking delivery. Looking forward to the begining of my addiction! :-)
Toured the plant during the Z06Fest and the AO was being produced. If they hadn't told us it was a new color I would have thought it was DSO. Looks brighter in the sunlight than the DSO. I think its an improvement.
I noticed that my DSOM looks much different indoors (at the museum) than in bright sun--probably the same with AO. The lights inside the BG plant are extremely bad for true color rendition--even much worse than normal indoor lighting. I would like to see good pics of the two oranges next to each other--no, wait, I really want to see them in person and drive both...

For this pic of Atomic Orange on their site, it looks to be the exact same shot as the DSOM 2006 model they had on their site...maybe they just altered the color on the photo? Does anyone still have the old DSOM on a local JPG that they can post for comparison? http://www.chevrolet.com/i/pic/corve..._gallery04.jpg
