you even get a little heat for your butt, if you drive in cold weather.2LZ= heated seats also. Dont drive to much in the cold, but I love heated seats.

Re: Best year Z06?

How about the enhanced acoustic package? Can you tell a difference btween 06 and 07's with this stuff? And is it something that can be done afterwards on an 06?

Also, how about reliability with modified Z06's? Are there any reputable tuners in NC?

Re: Best year Z06?

2008 hands down. The Bose system Blose. Bad. Get the 1LZ and ad your own system, thats what I did. or, if you have to have heated seats, & side impact airbags, get the 2LZ, but tear out the BLOSE asap. haha. the doors rattle from the factory setup! (too much bass with no sound deadening)

Dude,

Yeah he got it wrong no need for name calling here. Since your kind of new here just pointing out the correct info is all that is needed. Sometimes there are only subtle things changed on our cars from year to year. the 08 had the most so far. Enjoy the car! Don

Re: Best year Z06?

I cannot wait for the day I purchase the c6 Z! I will think I will buy an 06 due to price. That way I will have some cash for an exhaust, intake, coilovers, etc...

Great question, However, as a fellow newbie in the market

for a Z06, I would like to see someone that has owned both compare the C5 and C6 Z06's.

The reason is that I need a driver for the next couple of years and am considering buying a C5 Z06 in the upper $20s vs. an C6 in the upper $50s. Then again, I really love the look and additional power of the C6 Z06.

Any thoughts? Maybe I should start another thread asking to compare the C5 and C6 Z06's. I know there is another forum, but would like to hear from those that have had both, or know a lot about both.
