Thanks for sharing Zippy. I can't really tell the difference between blade silver ("BS"? LOL) and machine silver. It would be nice if there was a side by side comparison in the same picture.

Aactually it was yesterday, for the Vets & Vettes event. Also participated in the BG Veteran's parade, then we went to lunch at the Motor City Diner (near the HD bike store). Good day was had by all.

I like the new rim design a lot more than the old one. Looks like a good looking color but I guess I can not really tell the difference either would have to see them side by side.
Blade Silver, Machine Silver, and whatever the original Z06 silver was called for C5, are all striking with unique advantages. IMHO, "silver" is the easiest color to maintain and keep looking good where the swirl marks just seem to blend in. However, no need for chrome rims, as the standard painted wheels just look naturally better on a silver car. IMHO, chrome doesn't go very well on lighter colors, especially white, like on the 2001 Artic White Z06. Too much bling can take away from the rest of the body and styling of a car.
