Buying a Z06

I hope this is the right area of the forum to post this. I am in the market for 2007 or 2008 Corvette Z06. I looking a vette with low mileage ( up to ~5000). I see a few around. Besides looking for one owner and the Carfax. Is there anything else I should consider? I am concern that, given that this is a high performance car, the low mileage might be very hard miles? Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Buying a Z06

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, the mileage is not a good indicator of how hard the car was driven. Carfax won't tell you much more. I would go to a Chevy dealership and get a printout of the warranty work (if any) and try talking to the owner if possible. Also, it helps to have a mechanic that you trust look at the car for signs of abuse.

Re: Buying a Z06

Welcome to
And to take Vant's point above, vehicle history is available from a dealer. A clean car usually indicates owner care - but doesn't say anything about how the car was driven.

Since you're asking more about the "car" than the "dealer" I'll move your thread to C6Z Grandstand.
