Changed My C6 Order.

Just got off the phone with the sales manager at Stanford Chevrolet and informed him to change the color on my C6 order to LeMaNS Blue.

I love the Lemans blue. Good choice. Although I was sure you'd choose the "bad decision" red instead. Sometimes it's nice to have a car whose color takes time to grow on you.

I've been so un-decided on color. Talk about dazed & confused (more than normal, that is).

Forgot to say, I changed from silver to yellow last week. But after seeing so many LeMans Blue cars at the Corvettes On the Isthmus show over this past weekend, I changed my mind and went from yellow to blue.

Blue has always been my favorite color.

I see from your other related post, that Lemans Blue was voted most popular by a narrow margin. I notice also there are now 3 C6 colors that carry an "extra cost". (How much btw?) That is what would sway it for me, ie. picking a "free" color instead of paying extra.

Paint is paint!!!

Imo, there s/b no extra charge for any solid paint color on a car b/c there is really no extra manufacturing cost.

Anyway, Lemans Blue is a nice choice and I hope you like it, although Sunset Orange might have been a worthy alternative just to be different. Also, as I'm sure you already know, the darker colors show the most factory paint defects and are harder to maintain.

i am a die hard fan of yellow, but i think u made the right decision not buying the C6 in yellow. it has too much styling(too many hard and straight lines) to be painted in such a flashy color. maybe in a year or so when the design sucks into our heads for a while yellow would look more appealing, so far i find black and le mans blue to be the best colors cuz they give the car a much more exotic look.
