Is Dynatech a reputable brand for headers?

I see LG, Kooks, ARH, but hardly anybody mention Dynatech. Any eperience with them, or comment?

Thanks,

Yes, although I have the Kooks, I have seen a number of the SuperMaxx's installed and they look like a good header to me.

Thanks,

I had them on my 01. They are a true long tube header. I wouldn't
hesitate to buy again. Price is right too with xpipe and cats.

Re: Is Dynatech a reputable brand for headers?

I don't get it, went to their website, and saw the prices Less than a grand. Other header systems are $1400 and up.

***edited***

All responses here have been positive, so why aren't they more well known? Is there a downside? Are they heavier than other systems? Are they easy to install at home? I was almost set to go with ARH, then a local tuner suggested Dynatech.

Thanks guys,

There are a ton of people on here and over on CF that have the Dynatech's, including myself. Ralph P has a set on his 800whp TT402. Very high quality true long tube all stainless header. Pretty easy install and noticeable power increase,,,,,especially after tuning. HTH

Re: Is Dynatech a reputable brand for headers?

I had solid results with the Dynatechs, although if I were doing LT's again I'd probably do American Racing.

Why change brand if you had good results?

Thanks,

Re: Is Dynatech a reputable brand for headers?

I have a set on my 04 Z06. The install went as per instruction. The result could be felt in the SOP. After tuning they felt even better. And the sound with the stock mufflers is perfect.

Re: Is Dynatech a reputable brand for headers?

Here's a side to this question as I have been on the edge about getting the Dynatech Supermaxx LTs, X-pipe & Cats....

Has anyone been able to pass NJ DMV emissions with these on their car? It may pass the sniffer test with the high-flow cats, but will it pass a visual inspection because the cats are not in the original location?

Thx,
Pat

I've had a set for a while now and they've been great.
