I personally love the US and would love the opportunity to live and work there. Americans tend to be stereotyped in Europe as you guys don't understand our sense of humour and also the way that life is over here.
I always find France really odd as 99% of the towns and villages seem deserted for example.
When I was at the Le Mans Classic a couple of weeks ago one of our guys was there in his fantastic 1960's Chevy Impala and the French went mad for that. American cars are something of a rarity here in the UK so having a Corvette you get a lot of attention

one last question what is it to fuel up a 7 Litre V8 in U.k . we are complaining about 4 dollars a gallon gas here.

Universal love of all Corvettes in Europe, especially France. For example went to the local B&Q (Home Depot) on Thursday night and came out to find an old couple looking at the car, young kids love the car, teenagers love the car etc.

Whenever I am filling up with fuel I also get asked about the car by fellow customers and they are always surprised at how good the fuel consumption is.

I have now fitted a Bassani Cat Back system, a BPP Airbox and an iPod connector which works with my iPhone for playing music.

Welcome to the club, it is amazing the reactions we get in France, I never get to fill up without somebody taking photos or/and asking questions.
