I know you have all heard this a million times...but I got the call last night. After MANY months of waiting Tom from Bud's Chevy in Ohio called to tell me that we have a build number and I should see my car in the next few weeks. I ordered the museum delivery and my Dad and I are are making the drive from Orlando to pick it up. Should be a great trip! It has been great reading all of your experiences these past few months, can't wait to brag about mine!
Just got back this AM...EARLY!!! Took Museum delivery yesterday of my MS ZO6, the experience was incredible! Larry H. was my host and did a fantastic job! The only downer was hard rain the entire day, I almost cried when I had to get the car out of the beautiful building and in to these huge storms we are having. Then, 13 hours of rain back to Orlando. Left at 2PM and arrived at 4AM today...I am still grinning!
Yes we have heard it many times, but when it is your call, nothing could be much better, so enjoy.
In my case I figure maybe I will get to drive mine another week or snow and then the snow will hit. It never got above 39degrees this week, but we were lucky and only had a little drizzle.
The car is Machine Silver. I got a kick out of another comment I read on the site when someone asked if the car is tough to handle. The writer said it was very manageable even when hydro planning at the concrete construction barriers! I had the exact same experience several times on the way home in the rain. Nothing worse than driving a brand new car you waited 18 months for, as a semi truck totally blocks your vision with a wall of water as you hydro plane for the wall...talk about "pucker factor"!
