Actually, it's only lowered 5/8" on the factory rubber bushings. I saw a red Z06 with a 1" drop the same day, and although it doesn't sound like a lot... it makes a big difference... I thought it looked too "pimp my ride" lol

Re: Freshly Polished / Waxed

i hear ya...dont like the pimped look either. I have the triple-black as well. Do you know if an alignment is necessary when you lower it on the stock bolts? Definitely like the stance on your car...not pimp-slammed, just right.

Not sure, I did have it re-aligned, but it was covered under warranty... and I'm not sure why it needed to be re-aligned. Do you have nay brake issues? (mine flutter, in case you haven't read my other threads - the rotors were cut 2x, and replaced once so far... and they still shake at high speeds when braking hard.???

Re: Freshly Polished / Waxed

RE: alignment:
Necessary after lowering, as that changes the relative suspension-wheel geometry and camber-caster-toe will be off.
Best to drive it a bit (20-60 miles) after lowering and before aligning. ...
