With the holidays and stuff, forgot to post, I'm going to Spring Mountain Motorsports Driving School on Jan 28th.
For the first time in my life, I learned early on that this is more car than my driving skills can handle. My fovorite Clint Eastwood saying is "A man's got to know his limitations".
Anyway has anyone done that, and how was it?

Re: Going to driving school!!
I was high bidder at an NCM event auction and did the 3 day school in '06.
Absolutely fantastic. They encourage everyone to try all the Vettes, including a C6Z. Yes, you will enjoy it.
For a modest additional cost, you can purchase a recorded in car video of yourself while on the course. Cameras cover the road ahead, your face, and pedal action. Well worth it to watch and review later on.
It was the first time I really got to drive a Vette. I thought I'd get over the fantasy after 3 days at what was then Bragg Smith since I didn't own a Vette and had never owned a Vette when I went to the school. It didn't work out like I planned. I didn't get over the fantasy. Six months later there was a Z in the garage. You're going to love it. It might scare the stuff out of you a few times, but it's a rush. I now also am not tempted to do on the street what you can do on the track. Report back on your experience.
Let us know how it goes!! I have been wanting to do it and hoped to do it this winter but it looks like major renovations on the house will prevent it.
You will love it! I've gone twice, before I owned a 'Vette. 3 days of driving and learning and beating on someone else's car. It does'nt get any better!
P.S. Ask evil Dave to tell you the story of test driving the Miata!
Four of us guy's went together for the 3 day class in Dec, it was great, every thing there as well as all of the people that work there and the instructors are First Class. You will be glad you went.
