Got the 3M Clear Bra installed

I had the Clear Bra installed last weekend by a local installer. They did a wonderful job on the car. The owner of the place made the comment that they had never put that much film on any one car. The front end, headlights, driving lights, rocker panels, mirrors and door edges are all done. Here are the pics.

Looks great, and nice park - Your garden?

And great plate, shame we cannot do that over here!

That looks great. You obviously found an installer that knew what they were doing

I wish that was my garden. It is a park that is near our house. I also registered the domain to match the license plate.

I had it installed here in St. Charles, MO by a company that specializes in 3M installations.

Re: Got the 3M Clear Bra installed

Clear bras are the best. Mine isn't 3m but I think it is at least equivalent. It is a German product that was developed for the leading edge of helicopter blades in desert conditions. Anyway, I just turned over 20,000 miles on my 07 Z and the nose looks like new. This is my 4th Corvette and the only one that at this mileage doesn’t look like somebody unloaded 2 12 gauge barrels of rock salt from close range on the nose. If the originator of this post will PM me I will share a few areas that you should consider having done if they are not already. The main area of concern is the leading edge to approximately 1/2 the way back on the rear tire flares. I just had that area covered recently and so wish I had done it when it was new like the rest of the car. Road grit gets throw up from the fronts and will chew on that area. I'll try to post pics later next week if anyone request it. Food for thought.
