hatch popping issue

on my c6z06 i have experinced 2 times already while playing my radio my hatch opens by itself.... i have the jl audio stealth box... its only 1 10 inch sub woofer... i think theres something wrong with my latch maybe... anyone else having this problem

How do you like the stealth box? Do you have it hooked up to the stock radio? I know this does not help with your problem But I wanted to ask someone about this speaker.

The touch pad on the outside of the car is pressure sensative. If you are boomin' and thump thumpin' you may be triggering the pressure switch. Wouldn't take much.

Try disconnecting that switch (you can still use the key and remote) and see if it stops.

its ok.... i feel its very pricey for what it is but thats all anyone offers that looks clean and stock...otherwise id have this giant gaudy box sitting in the back so for the most part im happy with it

where is there a touch pad on the outside of the car.... i never knew it existed

It is round and just above the license plate to the right of the lamp. How have you been opening yours???? With the fob only?
