No saleable builds have been processed yet. Even when they are processed coming up sometime soon, there is still a audit period the cars must go through before they can be shipped. They will then be shipped out in batches. Expect to wait atleast another month before deliveries start taking place possibly more.

Surprisingly...YES! Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Junior was one of the first in line to put his deposit down on a new C6. In the meantime, Chevy was kind enough to loan Earnhardt a pre-production C6.
"His will be one of the first ones built, and right now he's driving a pilot vehicle, a black, six-speed coupe, and he loves it," said Gary Claudio (Gary Claudio is marketing manager for GM racing).
"This will be Dale's fourth Corvette, so he's a big fan. With his financial wherewithal, he could get any car he wants, but he's purchasing Corvettes because he thinks they're a fantastic buy and a wonderful auto to own," he said.

So true. I ordered a Vette back in 1987 and wanted to pick it up directly at the plant. This was before the museum delivery, well for that matter the museum itself ever existed. Anyway that was impossible, just was not allowed. But if you look around in the room in the plant where the plant tour starts, you will see pictures of several celebrities at the plant picking up there new vette. Oh well.
I believe that production for public vehicles starts on or around July 16th.

...That, and Chevy wouldn't be too happy if he had a Ford GT or Dodge Viper in his garage.

Wouldn't have a thing to do with the fact that Chevrolet is a big part of his pay package now would it?
I'm sure he paid full sticker for it too. Not.
