Headers

Hello guys, my name is Mauro from Italy, I have a 2008 Corvette Z06. I am fond of American cars. I need some advice from you, yet in my Corvette, I mounted the "Corsa exhaust," the "Vararam" and "Hypertech". Now I mount the headers and x-pipe. All the mechanics here in Italy do not know what are the best, then I ask you, who know more. With or without a catalyst? I want headers and x-pipe making very much noise, most of all at the same time that for many horsapower. Tipps me which brand? (even outside the law).
And you know give me a place to order them?
Excuse the errors, are Italian.
Thank you.

Re: Headers

ARH Headers are about the best you can get for the Corvette.
"Molto Bene". Welcome to paisan.
What part of Italia are you from? My family came to the US over 100 years ago from Patti, Sicilia.

Re: Headers

Welcome to

Do you have any pollution checks where you are? ARH exhaust without cats and x-pipe would be the way to go.

Re: Headers

Hello,
Yes, here in Italy there are controls for pollution, but I do not care, I am an outlaw. I like having a Corvette that makes a lot of noise before I had a C6 without silencers but it was too much resonance in the cockpit, now in the Z06 resonance to solve the problem I installed the "Corsa" but are not as noise soddisfatto.I ARH, make it more horsepower others?
On this site, I can buy from Italy?
Thanks for your advice.

I have headers and no cats. when I use the mild to wild switch and leave it oopen it is very loud. You can really hear my aftermarket cam.

However when I close them you CANNOT tell it's been modden, (unless you know what a stock z06 sounds like then you can barely hear my cam)

If your an outlaw then take the cats out and run with the headers. Have you driven a car without cats? you do know it has a slightly different exhaust smell. Some think it stinks....

Amreican Racing Headers all the way. Get the set with the 1-7/8" primaries made specifically for the C6Z06. Headers don't add volume, but they make the car sound better.
