Now that's what I call getting 'maximum use' out of a set of tires!

I'd hate to get pulled over w/ those tires! No officer I had no idea they were that bad, they only have 5000 mls on them!

Re: Hey, there's still wear bars

Just to clarify. I go and roast the tires to this condition the night before getting new ones mounted. It's like driving on snow with the right pedal supplying the slippery. Dead stop dry 90 degree lefts into straight smoke til second is my favorite. I have just shy of a half degree negative camber in the rears, Yeah, I sacrifice a 32nd or so on the outsides but oh how she corners. Swoooosh.
Doc E

PS You really get 5000 miles out of your rears? Wow, I had no idea they would last that long. Somethin' must be wrong with the three sets I have gotten.

Nice! Nothing like having tires make their exit.

Re: Hey, there's still wear bars

I'm about to roast mine but I was trying to make it till August when the stock C6Z sizes are supposed to be avail from Michelin for the PS2's. I average 5-8000 mls.

Re: Hey, there's still wear bars

I'm a piker-I took mine off way too early based upon the new standard for tire wear.
