IMRO (In my rookie opinion )

I'm trying a set. They stuck like glue at the track. I was told by the track event coordinator that they tend to wear quicker than some other decent tires, but these were the tires to use when you need to beat that guy you couldn't quite catch on any other tires. I've got one day on them so far and they didn't slip once during turns. Initial cost is similar, but because the wear is quicker, overall average cost is higher to run em.

R6s are the fastest tire out there today (other than the A6s). The wear issue is not yet completely clear. The R6s wear better than previous Hoosiers, but probably not as well as Kumho 710s (although the difference is probably small).

Bottom line: If you want the fastest tire on the track today, get the Hoosiers.

My C6Z has a set with about 300 miles of HARD track time at Pocono (170MPH on the front straight) and the tread looks like 70% (looking in the tread holes).
