Hurricane intake

Anybody try this intake with the power module, chime in and let me know what you guys think.Just how do these tuning devices work? Are the programs preloaded and you press a button? Or would you just put a good intake on and go get a tune. They want 1k dollars fot the hurricane with the tune module.
I'm getting used to the power of the Z and feel the need for a little more. Here we go.
Thanks John

Re: Hurricane intake

John - I have the Hurricane on for over a year. Did it with new headers and a performance tune. Great results!
Paid about $300 for the Hurricane and $250 for the tune.

Re: Hurricane intake

Thanks Harry. I'm getting ready to do a intake and tune, just making up my mind is the problem. I would attemp the vararam, my buddy did his Z06. He butched the install but I didn't have the heart to tell him. Gaps everywhere around the shroud, looked like hell.He said it was a very big pain in the a--.He definately needed more patience, especially installing it on a 70k car.
Then again i'm one of those perfectionists freeks.
Thanks John
I think black duct tape was in order for his install LOL
