Sweeeeeet. Be careful, she demands respect as far as power goes. The car is AMAZING. the more you drive it, the more you love it. I almost got use to mine, then added 100 HP! Have fun!!

I made the move from a C5Z to a C6Z last year...the power and performance is CRAZY. As the others have said you'll have a perma-smile, it just doesn't go away...
I just got a 07 Z06...it's a Atomic Orange 2 ZL....
I'm in shock !
I can't believe I really did it !
I will post more info tomorrow
I need to buy a extended warrenty soon... Already wrote 1 sponsor, .
This is a dream come true for me.... I've always admired the newer Z's , now I have one, and a great color too !
Tim
WAY TOO GOOOOO.....just kinda wondering what age are you? This is my 3rd vette....but the other 2 were in 1972 and 1974 and have been thru about 40 other cars since then and you are RIGHT, I have never had a car that put a smile on my face like my 2008...atomic orange (like the one yu bought)...and baby it will stomp the ground....why are you going with the extra warranty? also just wondering that ???
Jim
I've been thinking on getting a 08 Z51 auto car for awhile..but always loved the C6 Z... I found this one and got it ! The 08 car would have been nice ,but this thing is a monster ( if you want it to be) and I really like the way the shifter is soo much easier than my C5 Z... I don't have to drive in alot of traffic , so shifting won't bother me , until I get caught in L.A.'s traffic.... I plan on driving it over the next time.
thanks to all for the nice comments. heres a pic from today.
I plan on getting the warrenty to cover items that might go bad, window motors or what ever... I had a few small things on my 02 Z that needed replaced, visors, headlight motor, window motor etc and it would have cost me a few hundred bucks each time...I think i'd like to be safe and not have to pay for repairs for 4 yrs or so. The price quoted to me on the warrenty was waaaay cheaper from Dennis Fichtner, than the dealership up the street.

My impression is that it feels very light, and goes like stink ! I thought my C5 Z felt really light when I got it, this car the C6 Z will just jump to any speed you want. There is no effort at all from the car to get to 80-90 mph in a heartbeat. It reaches those speeds very quickly, like getting on a freeway etc. I got 1/2 way up a on ramp and hit 90mph. I've worked all but 1 day since I got the car and it's rained alot for here in Az. So that has limited my driving. I love how the open npp sounds when I start the car. I guess my mild to wild is set to be open at start-up.... It's a cool sound THe ride is very good, you can hear alot of the little bumps etc thru the rear of the car, I got a set of mats and cargo mat so that helps some. I want to upgrade the audio soon, I miss the great sound I had in my C5 Z. I need to find some open road and learn how it feels to keep it open for more than a 10 seconds at a time... I keep running out of road, and can't afford a ticket. It was a great upgrade.

The only audio that needs to be upgraded is the one under the HOOD. I can't even turn the radio on in my Z...I'm too busy listening to that motor rumble, then growl!
Congrats on the new ride...I know exactly how you feel - I just picked mine up last fall.
