I have finally seen the real deal, the C6. I like it! More importantly, the wife likes it! We all know how important that is and I have managed to get her blessing to swap my 01 Z for a C6.
I recently talked to my good friend Zippy. He has pointed me in the direction of a good dealer. However, I was reading on another forum and noted that a member who has access to the GMS pricing said that GM has a GM in your Driveway program as well which allows GM employees to pass on the savings to a friend or family member.
With that said, I was wondering if anyone has a GM In your Driveway certificate I can use?
I am pretty darn serious about getting a C6 so any help anyone can provide will be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance for all your inputs and advice.
Jim

Good luck Jim! When you get one, let us know how it compares to the Z06 as a daily driver. I'm dying to get a new daily driver for my next tour. F350 probably isn't going to cut it.
Mulling over a used Z06, used C5 Vert, or a C6...

+1 on that.
I don't know why, but after I saw the above pic in a magazine, I knew I was going to get my 4th Corvette. I sold my Z06 a year and a half ago... I want back in. That MS C6, from that view... Z51, 6-speed, MS w/black, NAV... '06.

Just wondering if youre still an instructor at Whiting. Im in 18, should be getting my onwing then end of this week or the beginning of next week at the latest. I heard a story a while back that you took a couple students up to the museum on a cross country.....its obviously going to be a few months, but if youre still instructing and want to make a repeat trip, Im definately in. Anyway, good luck with the C6....Id be very interested in taking a look at it if youre still in town.

THANK YOU!!!! You are the best. I am looking for a dealer that will take GMID pricing as well as not rape me on a trade in on my Z.
I replied to your email. Let me know if you get it.
Thanks again!!!!

No, I'm not instructing at Whiting any longer. I left there in early 03, went to HC-8 in VA after a short stint in North Island learning the MH-60S. I recently returned from a deployment to a place I like to refer to as HELL!
So, you went Cat I. Thats what I did too. Its the best but you'll be wishing you could cut and paste on the ATFs becasue all the students do the same crap wrong....just like we did! Enjoy your tour. I will be in the area mid Jan. I might make a trip to Whiting. I'll look you up if I do.
Back to topic.....does anyone have any ideas about dealers accepting GMS pricing??? Any and all help is appreciated!
