so here is my update... I just picked the car up on Saturday. I am pretty happy with the decision. As you can see, I have only purchased BMW's for the past five years, and this is my first american car that I have ever owned. I am looking forward to modding this car, and turning it into a beast. I am planning on dropping about 20 into it and I think I will be happy with it. The Z06 is replacing a BMW M5 which I unfortunately totalled a few weeks back..
It is a 2006 Z06 with the 2LZ option (loaded I think). It had 2,200 miles and was a one owner. I bought it for $46,400 - which I think is a great deal. It has the mild to wild, the smart window rolling down remote thingy, and the clear bra all over the car. Its not gonna stay stock for too long, but here are a couple of pics from this weekend before I wax it and take a photoshoot with my other BMW's
A 2006 for $46,400 with only 2200 miles????? :jawdrop: Was it stored in a barn somewhere? Driven to church on sundays by a little old lady? WOW!! That's an AWESOME deal!
Congrats!
Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the site!
Like Mike said - awesome deal Nice find !

thanks guys. It was a good deal. I bought it from Mercedes of buffalo. I drove to Buffalo from Grand Rapids, MI in a one-way rental and drove the car back with my friend so we could get a good feel for the car. They wanted to dump it because of the whole GM bankruptcy issue, so they knocked off $4,000 if I paid cash on Friday. The previous owner traded it in for a 2009 sl65 amg appartenly.
Now those "things" in your driveway look out of place. Hey, congrats on the new ride, American is great and welcome to the site. Keep us posted on the upgrades.

Just a point of interest here. The Z3 was and the X5 is made in South Carolina.
