How is everyone doing? I hope all is well. It's been a while since I posted on these forums so I thought I would share a video I recently made of my 08, Katech cammed Z06. Enjoy the music..
Sounds great. What kind of exhaust? I've been thinking of getting it done since I already have the Halltec intake and Corsa exhaust on my 07, but not until the warranty expires. How does it run? Any issues? Can you feel the added horsepower from the seat of your pants?
The mufflers on the car are stock. In the video, the baffles were open (M2W system). The cam is great, gas mileage decreased a little, but not anything to cry about. The drive is fairly descent, but I will admit to bucking at 1,500 rpms or below.
The SOTP feel is WAY stronger. Definitely noticeable. My car put down 432/392 bone stock on a Mustang dyno. With the new mods and on that same dyno, it put down 510/470 (only 1K miles on engine at that time). So I picked up 78 rwhp and 78 rwtq from the cam, headers, intake, and tune and BOY, is it so much quicker.
Car now has 3000 miles on it and it runs better and better everyday..
Are you planning on attending the Z06 Fest this September? I hope so.
Any plans for a ZR1?

With work, I don't think I will be able to attend the fest, but I sure hope that there are some upcoming driving events for the MI folks that I can attend.
As far as the ZR1, I am #4 on the list at Al Serra, but unfortunately, they are only getting 2 for 2009. So, the waiting will be a long while, and this is one reason I modded my current Z06..
