lateral g meter

So... what's the maximum you have seen on the C6 lateral G meter thingy? Is it handy to have? Do you find yourself paying attention to it?

It is a little difficult to look at if you are doing anything where it would be very high. It does hold for a second or two after it peaks but I have never noticed anything above .40. but I have definately gone higher though

I think the highest I have seen on the meter so far is .6x but I really haven't started pushing it in the twisties yet. I am enjoying the straight line acceleration right now since it has been a few years since my last 400+ hp car. Anyone know a place to buy tires cheap?

Yeah, that makes sense. Too bad they don't have a mode where you can recall the peak at any point, and reset it at your leisure.

Since you're not getting any replies, I had a base suspension car at .90g during a brief AIM. It was my first time in a C6, and I wasn't pushing it hard.

It's not distracting.

I've seen .7 something. Kinda hard to watch it when you are sliding sideways.

I saw .79 coming down from Skyline Drive on Sunday. The road was a little sandy. I was trying to get the number up as
I went down. Still a long ways from the claimed .98 on the skidpad
