We're leaving tomorrow in the morning so we can be at the Museum first thing Tuesday morning for the Museum Delivery of my VR Z06. My Chevrolet Dealer who is a good friend and one of my neighbors are making the trip. Neither one of them have been to the plant or the Museum so that part will be exciting for them more than me. I'll really miss my VY 06 Z because it was a really good car but right now is a good time for me to trade although the Economy Stimulus won't help much it will pay the taxes on it. Watch for me on the web cam Tuesday. I'll be the one with the grin ear to ear.
Guess I need to change my signature when I get a chance.

FEAR THE MIATA
Allrighty Steve!! I remember that trip several years ago. Even if Mike Hall was on the trip!
I remember the day when you picked up that black beauty. I watched it all on the web cams with you, your daughter and Mike looking it over and then watching it be driven down the Atrium. It couldn't have been "won" by a nicer guy who deserved it more.
Wow that is very cool Steve!! Congrats!!
Have a safe road trip, remember proper break in for the drive home.
I look forward to seeing you and your joining us in the NE caravan......or at least a portion of it!!
I am happy for you..........jealous!!! But happy for you!
Finally picked up the car at the Museum yesterday. During the tour at the plant I saw a few 2009's and 3 ZR1's. (one was blue, one was yellow and one was charcoal). The only difference I saw on the 2009 was on the deck lid where the 3rd brake light is. It goes all the way across now with the brake light still about the same size. I couldn't believe the size of the ZR1 brakes.
My VR Z06 parked in the No. 1 Delivery Spot.
My neighbor and Chevrolet Dealer who went with me are standing by my car.
I drove it home 530 miles and averaged 25.8 mpg. Today I have to wash the bugs off rain or shine.
