looking for some parts for the Z before it gets here
I am looking to get some extra floor mats, which I found at southerncarparts.com... Those will be fine unless someone recommends somewhere else to get them..
second question was about jack pads. Which pads are recommended? I just want to make sure I have all the little things when I get the car. I'm giving out Christmas ideas, so things for my car are the best!
Already have a car cover.. .what else is needed?
Posting a link with the part would work best... I have an 08 Z06 on the way... so I would need jack pads for the 08
Re: looking for some parts for the Z before it gets here
I made my own jacking pucks out of hockey pucks, with a drawer pull section to make the "T" to insert into the slot ...
If you want to eliminate the 1-4 shift ... you might get a CAGS defeat kit, unless you want to make your own with a Radio Shack resistor.

where is the best place to get one for my 08?
BTW.. my car came in last night.. about 4 months ahead of time... its amazing! Although, I never had to shift from first to fourth... guess I must be with hotrod on this one ... ahah
What about a place to get those jack couples to you don't crack rocker panels? which style do I need?

Try one of our supporting vendors first ... "CAGS" or "1-4 shift defeat"
Ah, yes ... the right foot is an effective CAGS defeat as well
Re: "jack couples" If you're talking about frame savers ... they're the plates that go under your rockers ... also have roller protectors for the front bumper supports ... especially good on sharp driveways with a lowered car ... A&A, I think, offers them.
If you're talking about jacking pucks ... I make mine out of hockey pucks ...
