MTI and Phoenix Performance are no longer Suuporting Vendors of Z06Vette.com

Both MTI and Phoenix Performance have decided to stop thier support of Z06Vette.com. As always, it is my hope that our members will continue to spend thier money with vendors that remain Supporting Vendors of our site, such as Cartek, East Coast Supercharging, 21st Century Musclecars, and LG Motorsports.

Sorry to hear that Phoenix has backed out.
I know that there have been many referrals posted here commending them, ... figured that might count for something in their business assessment

I'm sorry to see Phoenix go but if business is a little slow right now, there's a good chance they will be back when things pick up. It happens.......

Now MTI on the other hand....well they have a very special place in my heart
You'll hear more about that later.....with pics!

Mike

I ordered an air bridge from MTI on 06 JULY. As of 24 JULY I still had not received any tracking/shipping info. 20 JULY I left two voice mails at MTI....never received a reply.

Frustrated, at the Fest, I ended up buying one from BPP prior to my tune. 25 JULY I emailed MTI requesting they cancel the order as I had no need for a 2nd air bridge. Surprisingly, I received a quick reply stating they had cancelled my order and refunded my credit card the $$. WTF.... 18-19 days and an order can not even be put in the mail??? No call back from to a customer who had an order placed....not good business practices.

Pat

I had a throttle body on order with MTI for three months for some winter mods. No customer service call was ever received and they barley acknowldged the cancellation of my order. Wonder how I would have been treated if I ordered their Z07

Hmm.. this does seem odd and doesn't gel with my and others experiences with MTI.

Perhaps key personel have been on vacaiton recently?

MTI has been a supporting vendor as long as I can remember. It's a shame to see them cut off support. Like Mike said, perhaps they'll be back later.

We'll back as a sponsor in a few months. Just need to allocate some funds differently for the short term.

This site and it's members have been great to our company and we look forward to rejoining it as a sponsor asap.

Sincerely,

David Coates

I hate to be slamming a business, but I feel it is important that other people know about this situation. I had a friend who had his Vette at MTI Houston for 6 months doing a VERY expensive performance package on it. When he received it, it had SEVERAL problems. One being an exhaust leak he asked to have fixed, and it wasn't. The tune and installation was terrible. There were SEVERAL aftermarket components he was charged for that simply weren't ever installed onto the car. I personally saw most of this catastrophic work, and it was really bad. Just a heads up, I hope this is not the norm for them.

Glenn,
I think I'll be ok. I did however have a small hick up with the shipping of my car but it was in no way MTI's fault. Matter of fact Dave Coats some how got a hold of another truck heading in the same direction and had my car on it as promised. It was even a better truck lol.

Glenn,
No shop is without it's up and downs. Name a shop that has been around as long as MTI has that has never had a single issue? That's all I'm saying. Then again the truse test will be when I pick that bad boy up. My fingers are crossed!

Tony

Its true...its not that any business can exist without hiccups...but rather how they deal with them when they occur.

I'm sure in this wild crazy @ss economy sometimes things such as advertising need to be slightly scaled back...

When times pickup again I'm sure MTI will be back as a valued long time supporting vendor...
