I know this isn't exactly anything about tuning or working on our cars but i do have to ask you guys this.Back in December, National Geographic Channel was showing how the Z06 was assembled as well as the motor being hand built.Did anyone get a chance to record it? If so I would like to be able to get a copy of it.VHS would be ok but DVD would be even better.I did see it on SpeedTv.com but it is just a small screen.Hope someone will be able to come thru for me.
Thanks
Don
I did record that on VHS tape. Maybe get a list of members that want a copy I could copy it off to DVD. It would be easier to a batch rather than just one at a time.

That's nice of you to offer. I'm sure you'll get a lot of takers!

Sig by the Hillbilly!
I recorded it on my dvr but I have no idea how to get it off of there. Any ideas?
In the back of your DVR you should have the yellow RCA jack outlet and a
pair of red & white ones.Yellow is Video with red & white being the audio.Make sure each one indicates output.Do not use the out Coax Cable for you get little to no audio sound when you try to record it this way but can get the picture portion of it.Next you would need either a VCR Recorder or a DVR recorder and hook it up to the input RCA jacks. You can probaly use you TV to monitor the progress.Hopefully I have given you enough info.

If you just want it on your computer, you can download the broadcast from youtube.

I was hoping National Geographic would put it up on their store so I could buy it, but no such luck yet...
Well, I plan to keep watching the site. Maybe we'll get lucky.
Sadly, I setup the computer to pull the HD feed off my cable box, but needed to clear space on the computer which messed up the beginning of the recording. I've got two copies on DVD, but they have the commercials in them. Better than nothing though.
