New 2008 Z06 Black

I am new to the forums and just purchased a new 2008 Black Z06 Vette.

Just wondering if anyone has any input on the care of black paint. I know you have to be very carefull with handling and application of polish.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome and congrats on the sick ride. Use microfiber to wash and detail the car - nothing else will be as gentle on a black finish. Keep it covered when you can and be sure to wax it often if you drive it a lot. Other than that, enjoy your LS7 power.

Congrats!! same here Blk with chrome wheels 08 with less then 400 miles on her.. Agree with the rest of the guys Micro Fiber sponge, towels, and watch your hands around the door handles, and make sure to crack the door when closing the hatch makes it so you don't have to press on it to make it latch. Enjoy the ride, you'll never want to stop driving it!!!

Adams or other polish will keep it looking good.
