The New Atomic Orange

I posted this in the NCM forum, but just incase you don't go there. Here it is.

It really isn't a great picture, but this is from my NCM email today. Atomic Orange revealed.

The newest color available on the 2007 model will be unveiled at the C5/C6 Bash event. GM has mailed a paint chip sample to Chevrolet dealers showcasing the new Atomic Orange Metallic. This new color replaces the Daytona Sunset Orange color. Other 2007 option lineup information includes:

* Two-tone Modified Seats (perforated leather seating surface) with crossed flag embroidery and contrasting stitching available in 026 Red, 316 Cashmere, 846 Titanium. Available on Coupe and Convertible with 2LT or 3LT equipment packages.
* UK3 Steering-wheel mounted audio controls included with Bose premium audio systems. (US9/U3U)
* Larger glove box storage space.
* UE1 OnStar now available on Z06 with 2LZ equipment group.
* Enhanced acoustic package reduces road noise and is included with Z06 2LZ equipment group.
* Bose audio enhancements.
* New keyless access transmitter with integrated mechanical key.
* CM7 Power convertible top is now included with Convertible 3LT equipment group.
* Cross-drilled brake rotors now included with F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control.

Genuine Corvette Accessories Available for 2007:

Racing spoiler
Body side moldings
Racing stripe package
Z06 sill plates
Z06 427 hood badge
Hood blanket with color logo

Similar color to the 72 LS5 Vette. Didn't like it then, don't like it now. It makes the vette look like a toy car.

There is a C5 running around here with the licence plate something like orange crush.
It is an bright orange metalic paint and looks wild on a C5, if GM would paint the C6 this color it would be stunning.
