Pics of 2007 Atomic Orange and Z06
Here are pics of the new Atomic Orange and a 2007 Z06.
I took this at the NCM Birthday Bash in semi-daylight conditions (you'll see the moisture on the cars).
Look carefully in the C6 'vert and you might see Tom Wallace
Best as I know these are the first actual pictures of the new Atomic Orange.

I was expecting almost a hugger type orange.
That, at first glance, doesn't look much different than the current orange to me.
Still looks sharp though!

Yeah, it might be the pics or the lighting, but that looks an awful lot like DSOM.
Zip, how much of a difference is there with this new orange?
BTW Zipster, great find...

I agree. I'm sure the Atomic Orange is much brighter/bolder.
How about it Zipster?

That is what I am thinking.....
Maybe a nice sunny day would change things a bit.
Too close, I actually thought they were old pics.....sorry Zip.

I'm pretty sure thats not atomic orange.
*Edit* I believe now that you are right and that is UGLY. I thought it was supposed to be a Dukes of Hazzard type of orange. Oh well there goes my order.

The pics I posted on this thread are Atomic Orange. Period. The pics were taken in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn University Plaza in Bowling Green Kentucky on April 21, 2006.
Unfortunately, The pics were taken on a cloudy day with intermittent rain. I'll try to get more pics if it's sunny on Saturday.
Yes, the color is similar to DSOM. Some will like it, some not. It's personal preference.
In talking with Harlan Charles on Friday (Team Corvette, Chevrolet, GM Corp) the new acronym for Atomic Orange is ATOM. Atomic Tint coat Orange Metallic.
