Hello-

My friend is looking at 2 used 2006 Z06's.

One is LeMans Blue - 2,100 mile 2LZ without Nav, seats with Red inserts for $58,500.

The other is Yellow - 2LZ without Nav, all black interior, 2900 miles - $56,000.

Are these prices good on these cars. I know that each are lower miles.

Is $56 - $58 a good prize on a 2006 with low miles?

I have been looking for a z lately. I have found 06's for around 50, 07's for 57, and a few 08's at 62. I am trying to get an 08 for 60k. I think it will happen with the 09's a month away. I would want a 07 for the powertrain warranty but you may get a flying top as well.

I agree.

I've seen '06s closer to 50k. If his budget is about 58k, I would tell him to be patient and look for an '07 at about 60k. The '07 has the 100k mile warranty on the drivetrain.

Are there major difference in the suspension betweena 07 and 08. I thought I heard that some tuning was doen to 08's that made it more compliant and gave it a higher limit and easier on road manner.

The rear shocks were changed late 07 and for the 08 cars i think

Not bad - bu tI think he can look at an '07 - I am currently listing my 2007 Atomic Orange Z06 w/ 2500mi for $59,900. So he should look around a bit.
