Prices on new 08 Z06

Have seen many dealers willing to discount around the $10K mark give or take a couple hundred. I have been looking myself, but am going to hold off for a while to see what happens. There appear to be quite a few 08's sitting on lots and the 09's are rolling in. I am hoping for some deeper discounts. We'll see.

I'm sure the increased price of premium gas hasn't been helping much with a lot of potential buyers either ....

Zippy, What will be the main difference on the 2009 Z as opposed to the 08'? Will the dealers be willing to deal on the 09's even with the MSRP reduced by $5,000? Thanks.

Well, with the way things have been shaping up with the economy I suspect that if you hang in until August/September any 08's left (and there should be some) will go for a hefty discount. Some of the big dealers are already offering discounts on incoming 09's, so this will only depress the price of any leftover stock.

The prices will go down. There are over 1900 08Zs sitting on dealer lots now.

Over 1900 2008 Z06s sitting on lots? Wow, that's well over 25% of the total 08Zs expected to be produced in 2008.

After reading about how many people have given a deposit for the new ZR1 and are getting screwed over by their dealer I can understand why they are having problems. I hope they get stuck with a s--t pot full of 09's too.
