Well, not quite... (But they don't need to know that. )

Corvette Racing 24 Hours of Le Mans Record:

2000 3rd and 4th in GTS (10th and 11th overall).

2001 1st and 2nd in the GTS class (8th and 14th overall).

2002 1st and 2nd in the GTS class (11th and 13th overall).

2003 2nd and 3rd in the GTS class (11th and 12th overall).

2004 1st and 2nd in the GTS class (6th and 8th overall).

2005 1st and 2nd in the GT1 class (5th and 6th overall)

2006 1st and 7th in the GT1 class (4th and 11th overall)

2007 2nd and DNF in the GT1 class (13th overall)

However, Corvette did win the ALMS championship in '01 through '06.

The biggest way to reduce your carbon footprint (worthless new catch phrase) is to do it by legacy. Just say no to having kids. In 100 or so years, there would be no additional human emissions.
I guess since I have not had kids, I should get extra carbon credits from Igor's (opps I mean Al Gore's) carbon credit account.

Ok, I am going to find somebody who has a Prius and do some testing to see which is worse in real driving conditions: that little Toyota or my no-catted Z!

Same as here.

I already got into a brawl in the enviroment section.

I am going to organize a Prius vs Z06 challenge to see who really gets better gas mileage in real world driving. I believe highway mpg between a Prius and a Z06 are similar. The big thing, of course, is adding weight -- there is no way that with 2 full-size adults and groceries in a Prius they will be able to stay electric all the time.

Re: Prius is better looking than a Z06

Drove a Prius rental a few weeks back. Didn't think it was all that bad to be honest. Even the quirky looks have kind of grown on me. However, the clientel they attract are definitely not my sort of people. Middle class, left wing, 'conscience of the world' types, moaning about carbon footprints, and baby seals. My sister in England is one, and I've listened to her bs since she was 9
