I think that most dealerships will get you one at MSRP if you give them a deposit. If you don't find one, check out the supporting dealerships out to the left. If not, just PM me and I'll get you a name and number of a dealer that I know will do this for you.

Ordered 07 Z06

I now have put money down on an 07 Z06, but I am on an allocation waiting list. Downing Chevrolet was very helpful.
Verbal agreement for Msrp or less. Still looking for quicker delivery. Anyone have any suggestions.

Best way I know of is to contact as many dealers as possible. You might get lucky and have someone fall off an order. Leave your name and number with each dealer, they'll likely keep in touch with you if they get very many Z's at all.

Whoever you end up using, do yourself a favor and get it in writing.

Not ebay. Seems like everyone is selling their Z's for astronomical amounts on there now.

I've been tracking the ebay listings in my "items I'm watching" list. Very few are selling. The current data on 8 auctions for 06 Z06's is as follows:
-122 miles 1 bid for $69k But it now was $82k did not sell reserve not met.
-New buy it now $71585 reserve not met
-used sold for $70k
-$78950 did not sell reserve not met
-(relisted)new $71585 did not sell
-349 miles $74,500 sold
-$73k reserve not met-new
-$74229 reserve not met did not sell

so 2 of 8 may have sold. Who knows on the 2 that sold if they REALLY sold. you can get a buddy to bid and say its sold to save on the re-listing fee.

Just my data don't know what to make of it. I have freinds that have bought cars on Ebay so it does happen.

Thanks to all for the input. I will keep posting as I go through the process. I will not pay more than MSRP!
