Running non-Run flats

The car sits very low with the stock suspension. What would happen if you have racing tires that are not run flats and you get a blow out at high speed? Will the car bottom out at the respect tire? Let's say the right front goes. Will it scrape the front fascia? If the rear blows, will it drag the exhaust?

I'm just wondering if runflats are needed in that event...

Eye ball the lowest part of the rim. Is it lower than the side skirts? If so, yes. It will scrape. If not, then you are fine. I'm too lazy to go up and look at mine. Sorry. haha

Based on this pic I took after lowering mine on stock bushings and bolts, I'd say no problem. I, too am going non runflats when I need new tires.

What other options are there on stock rims?

Nice car, Norm.

How about some RIIs for the fronts and Hoosiers for the back?

I would also ditch the run-craps.
