Around town, about 12-13, on the highway, almost 24. Not bad for a 620 hp 454...

So far with just 900 miles on the LS3 stroker, getting 25+ on the highway and 15-16 around town,,,,not too bad for a 418 with over 600 crank HP.

Re: so how many MPG do you all really get?

I just took a 2800 ml roundtrip to NY. My high for a half a day was 27 mpg but ended up w/ 24.5 for the day. W/ hwy most of the way and some mountain driving coming back thru the Blue ridge mountains I averaged 23-24 mpg. I run 75-82 mph. I have found the LS7 not to be as forgiving as the LS6 for fuel mileage. You have to be nice w/ it to get the 24 mpg. I was able to be heavy footed w/ the LS6 and then drive nice most of the way and still pull 26 mpg. Not the LS7 have fun and you pay no matter how nice you drive after mabey 19 mpg. I have an 08 w/ 9500 mls and run Amsoil in the drivetrain and that's my best. It is a 427 so that's nothing to sneeze at!!

Re: so how many MPG do you all really get?

My 02 Supercharged Z gets 28.5MPG average on the highway. Verified on numerous trips between MA and FL over the last couple of years. 15-17MPG around town, but I like Jackrabbit starts.

I've done it both ways and the DIC was pretty acurate within 2/10ths of a mile. Although I found the DIC in my old 2005 GMC to be way off.

Re: so how many MPG do you all really get?

Right out of the box from the Corvette Museum I averaged 26.5 mpg for the first 530 miles. Drove to North Carolina a couple of weeks ago and averaged 28 mpg for the 400 mile trip there. Drove around for 3 days looking at houses and by the time I got back home with over 1,100 miles total the average was just over 26 mpg.

Re: so how many MPG do you all really get?

On my 08 Z06 best I have gotten was its maiden trip from TN to MD, I averaged 33 mpg with cruise at at 72 mph. The first 309 miles only took 9.3 gallons. Since then I have been getting 24-26 on the highway and 18-19 around town. I am guessing all the hills heading up 81N helped alot with the 33mpg.

Re: so how many MPG do you all really get?

I'm about 450 rwhp and I get 25 on the freeway in 6th gear with cruise on. Around town I get 17 to 18. I get better gas mileage at 75 than I do at 55. At WOT about 170 mph in 5th I get 4 mpg.
