Yep, sure looks that way. Probably the simplest thing to mod for a little more performance. Does the stock LS7 ECM "self-adjust" to a greater AFR through the intake?
Well let me tell you boys sumthin. I bought my 07 with headers and a Halltech Killer Bee installed so I didn't really know any better as to how fast this car is. I thought "pretty damn fast!". So, to satisfy my curiosity, I put the stock air filter back on. What a dog! I am not kidding, the filter (with a my tune of course ) made a huge difference!
I'm going to dyno it at the fest and I wouldn't be surprised to see about 500 at the wheels!

Yes, but what do they do without the tune. Once you tune you can kiss your warranty goodbye. I am all for doing reversible mods providing they add additional hp.

They make a difference but not much. Mine had a little scoop thingie that brought outside air into the filter which helps keep the IAT temps down and won't pull timing. All this is a moot point right now because I'm driving a bone stock 08.
You know, it's fast enough. I'm done with modding. I wait, I think I've heard that before.
