Is there any difference between 06,07 and 08 Z06's?

I am thinking about getting a Z06 and was wondering what the differences are between the 06,07 and 08 models. Are there any BAD points to the 06 or 07?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you breeze thru the c6 grandstand and c5 grandstand you'll find a couple of posts on this , one was mine, with all of your answers. Same topic 'difference btween 07 and 08'. Ultimately the 08 has 4 real changes 1. New Trans 2. new steering rack for more precise feel and feedback 3. console design nicer looking 4. new shifter more precise shifting better feel. 5. some say but I don't know the 08 has the new clutch pak design which was the fix for the chatter in the 06 n 07. i just got into an 08Z and I love it. I had the 03 which I loved and was worried about the change over but have since forgotten. Good luck

From everything I had ready there isn't that much differene. The above post does talk about whether they changed the clutch packs on the 08 or not.

The 2008 Z06 has:
- Beefier transmission
- New steering rack/ more precise steering feel
- Upgraded interior = nicer
