Those guys just have a bias against America cars. They forgive quirks about european cars and treat similar things one the Z06 as fatal flaws. They just don't rate as automotive journalists. I have also heard they have a bad reputation for unneceassarily tearing up their test cars.:bmad:

Yes, JC is an ass, but he's a *likeable* ass.

And fairly funny.

Yes, they'll find a way to trash any non-British car. But that makes them different from the way 75% of the readers of this site think of non-American cars how exactly?

I like the show. You just can't take it too seriously. Beats the hell out of Edmund's for entertainment value, though!

They just don't want to admit that the car simple kicks ass and they have to find some faults to harp on. Flat out, it beats most of the cars on that totem pole. And the ones above it probably all cost $100,000 more at least.

Have you watched it?

JC says he cannot find any way justify the 575 and the 599 GTB costing £100k more and says he is "stunned" by the Z06.

I think it's a terrific show. You really can't match it for entertainment value.

Ya, I did watch it.... where does he get off saying that the Z06 is not a "road" car and that it's just a "track" car? It's the best damn road car I've driven!

Totally agreed - good entertainment. It's also, sometimes, quite beautifully shot. They go to some stunning locales for filming.

All told, I think it's better than any of the motoring shows we've got over here. Beats the heck out of some of our more insipid ones anyway...
