Tunnel Heat!!!!

I just traded up to the 08 2lz C6Z. I'm only around 700 mls and yesterday having a whole day in the car stop and go + hwy I not happy w/ the heat on my right leg from the console. I had my phn in the cup holder and when I picked it up it was cooked!! I mean it was real hot. I've seen some guys complain but most had headers or some mods. Well no improvment for the 08's this console is hot!! I remember on the c5Z someone posted a fix w/ some stuff from Lowes and everyone said it worked. Any fixes for the c6Z that are working. This isn't gonna work when it gets hot here again.
