Video: Before and After Headers on a C6!
This is a short clip of a friends C6 before he added headers and removed his cats. This is still through the stock mufflers using Kooks 1 7/8 headers.

Sounds good! Did I notice a faint whistle or was that my imagination?

Nice sound improvement without spending money on a new cat-back to say nothing of the HP gains.

...I heard it too but did not see the source under the hood, perhaps an airleak ?!

That whistle was actually from the Vararam Intake, when you hit the gas you hear it suck in the air and make a whistling sound.

It does sound way better than stock, but it is a little raspy so he is thinking about adding the Magnaflow exhaust to give it a deeper sound.

Sounds nice, but next time make sure he/you put something over the mic on the cam. A sock, some foam anything that will take away much of the unwanted noise.

I knew a girl who "whistled" like that, her name was Veronica Ramsey.
Maybe thats where they got the name Vararam...
