Congratulations...beautiful car. And don't worry about it being more car than you are a driver...most of us are in that group. Just recognize it and respect the car. Remember, roll the power on; don't slam it. You'll slowly come around to being able to relax and enjoy. Remember, too, Dirty Harry's advice: "A good man knows his limitations."

You're not kidding!
I stabbed the accelerator once (out of bad habit with my old car) and I instantly heard the rear wheels spin. this was at 2kRPM in 2nd
Holy torque!
Congratulations on the '08Z ...
Since I don't see the red thong hanging from the rear view mirror, I guess you didn't get the R8Siska RPO ...
Enjoy the ride!

Som'thin' familiar about that car! Picked mine up on 10/26. Same color, same wheels. You're gonna love it. Congrats. Now you know you've got to come to WinterFest, don't you?

Absolute beauty. I have the same car in red. It has taken me a month to become a smooth driver in her, but my son still points out how I go zero to speeding in the blink of an eye. Now, where do I go to get the stupid grin surgically removed from my face?
I just realized that the pics are a little confusing... Thats not me in the first pic
That was Steve Ashby of the NCM, our tour guide. I've been so busy driving and cleaning, that I dont have any pics with me yet.
I got the paperwork done in the last minute, so it looks like I have to wait 2 more days for the paperwork to come in so I can be legal on the streets (ok so maybe I put on 90 miles or so extra big deal ) For now I've got to park it in the garage for the greater good. Talk about hard to do
The damn thing accelerates like a spaceship without gravity dampers. Its just stupid!
Funny thing is, I now realize, more than ever, that "with great power comes great responsibility".
Slow-moving morons on the left lane have always irritated me. I was afraid of what I'd do when I had a bad day with the Z. Surprisingly, I dont even care anymore. I've got nothing to prove A mild squeeze of the gas in ANY gear will get me anywhere I want to be. I thought the car would add fuel to the fire, but it has instead turned me into a very mature and responsible driver. Who woulda thought!
I may not have given the Z so much attention without my internet friends. Thanks to you I know what I have been missing!
A sincere thanks to all of you!
