I picked up a 06 Z51 yesterday. I am going to hold off until next year then get the beast.
I do miss the extra muscle of the C-5 Z06, it had so much more of a hot rod feel.
However I am really liking this Z51, the blue is awesome! I am very happy with the decision....but the C-6 Z is going to be the best!
What options did you get on the Z51? Any special reason why you got rid of the "Z" ?

I just opted for the Z51, no nav, heated seats etc because I am not going to have it to long! I got rid of the Z because I was able to get a good price for it, they keep dropping like a rock any way. Plus the C-6 has been growing on me, I think they are sharp!
You are right norm, but that privilege is going to be for my Z I love this blue color
Awesome potential, some headers, exhaust and a tune

Blue does looks awesome! I've got those exact mods and it definitely makes a difference. Might put you equal, in a straight line at least, to your old 04 Z06 (if stock of course).

Nice choice, where did you get it? I've been thinking about the same thing. Did you trade in or sell it yourself? Must have been hard to see the C5Z go though.

Maxie Price!
I sold mine, it is insulting what they offer for trade in values
It was hard to see it go, I do miss the character of the car...however I do not regret my decision. I am going to enjoy learning the character of this one
