What a Ride!!

Last Thursday I went for a ride and it was one of those rides that you don't know where you are going to go you just kinda of wing it. Well I went thru Helen,GA on 75 towards Hiawassee,GA where there are a bunch of roller coaster type of turns ,and some tight sweepers. I had a blast running thru the turns and getting 1.03G to 1.11G. Of course I stay in one lane and try not to blast it to much down straitways but just have fun in the corners. I might have to tap the brakes once in a while but thats about it. The Z wasen't sliding or squealing the tires our anything just railing. I have a harness bar in my car with the 4 point harness from MTI racing and that holds me in my seat real good. It was great as the car would just handle awesome going thru the turns as if to say "is that all you got",but I was trying to hold the car back and not get to crazy, which with this car is not real easy. Anyway I turn down 76 toward Clayton,GA and its a nice cruise with some real nice fast sweepers and again I'm going thru the sweepers at a nice pace but with alot of reserve left and just having a blast. Now I turn N on 23/441 towards Franklin,NC which is a 4 lane hwy and it was cool just to relax and enjoy the cool weather.. I get to Franklin,NC and get on 28N and after your up the road 10 miles or so it gets real tight (15-20mph) turns and the Z takes the turns without breaking a sweat. They are short turns and taken in 2 gear the Z just launches off the corners taking everything I'm giving it with alot more if I wanted to get crazy. I come to the end of 28 and get on 129S towards Murphy,NC. Alot of beautiful scenery and just a nice ride all the way thru till I get to Blairsville,GA.Still on 129S again you get to a bunch of real nice sweepers and man was that fun,of course I get stuck behind some slow trucks and slow cars but every so often there is a passing lane that I can get around the slow cars and take off again.Until I finally arrive in Cleveland,Ga ,so I go wash the Z after a very fun ride and then head home. Then today my wife wanted to go with me so I went on the same route, but was just going to go part way down 75 after Helen,GA and come back ,well the road was alittle damp, and I was taking it pretty easy since my wife was in the car,I mean don't get me wrong I was still going thru the corners around .85G-1.00G but making sure the roads where dry,and as I come around one corner here is a Hwy State Trooper at the end facing the other way,so I am looking at his car right in front of me. My V1 never went off and of course I just coasted towards him as I go by he puts his hand out with his fingers say 3 then 5 for 35mph I wave and just putt around the corner that he is aiming at and of course then my V1 starts going crazy,so I guess he was aiming his radar at the opposite direction, whew! The road was getting wetter and wetter so I just putted the rest of the way home, but I still had a great ride, and when I get back I always have a smile on my face.
