My engine was built by P.C. Sage. I went and did the BG Buyers tour and my car was kicked out of the line when I get there. I was able to handle individual parts of my car like the motor mount frame(which I got to sign n date), left front brake assemble, and see the engine sitting on a stand by itself. It was cool to be able to see all sides without the clutter of the car itself. I am going to look into getting a poster too!
Chas E. Giese built mine. Do you have a picture of him Zippy? I'd like to thank him for doing an excellent job on the build.
I don't know if any of you guys have noticed this but I have word "Z06" written on the right inside wheel well under the hood. It's in yellow marker. Pretty cool. It's one of those marks you hear about that the assembly line workers write on the car but this is the first one I've seen on any of my cars.

Couldn't wait to get home from work yesterday to find the signature plate on my 06. Linda Hooker built mine, the BG build date was 6/23, and per another thread, I found the ZKD on the left side of engine, but it was a white sticker and bar code, no numbers were visible. Is this the right thing to look for? The sticker was partially hidden by the alt./p/s bracket. Any more hints?
I'm assuming the numbers are below the bar code, similar to the antilock brake module below & to front of alternator. If so, the sticker is placed too low on the head, and the #s are behind the p/s pp bracket on mine. The bar coding goes to within a mm of the bracket. I guess mine are hidden forever.(Or until the power steering pp blows up!)
