Fairly typical depreciation is 25% first year and then 5-8% thereafter, no matter what you are driving and 'vettes are not immune. Best thing to do is buy a leftover and get 21% off MSRP, then you have avoided most of the 25% first year drop.

If all goes well today, the C7 will be a big hit and I'll get even a better deal for a C6 Z06.

In the computer world, we call it geek tax. Buying the latest and greatest then watching the price plummet.

To all the C6 Z06 garage queen keepers out there, a sincere thank you for taking care of my next car.

I think it looks great!

The Active Rev Matching should make for a better driving experience, and hopefully interior is significantly better, as promised.

I'm going to guess that at least a few current Z06 owners will be in the market for a C7.

A bit disappointed in the seat lateral support department. Those seats belong in a Camry. The ports for 6 way belts is a nice touch for upcoming Z06 models though.

Hey Mike, I sold my 08 Z for a good price and bought the Cobra. After seeing the C7 I want one but will wait another year for them to work the bugs out. The Cobra blew a head gasket so by spring the engine should be rebuilt to be better than it was. I can't believe that's it's been almost 2 months since I've been on the website.
